Swachhata Abhiyan (Cleanliness Campaign)
Swachhata Abhiyan is a nationwide initiative launched by the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 2, 2014. Its primary objective is to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across India. On 19th January 2026, this campaign was conducted at Lendave Chinchale, aiming to engage citizens in the mission of a cleaner and healthier environment.
Activity Objectives:
Promote Cleanliness – Encourage maintaining cleanliness in homes, streets, and public spaces.
Waste Management – Advocate for proper waste segregation, recycling, and eco-friendly practices.
Raise Awareness – Educate people about the importance of hygiene and cleanliness.
Public Participation – Involve citizens, communities, and NGOs in cleanliness efforts.
Environmental Sustainability – Focus on reducing pollution and maintaining clean water sources.
